Tuition is charged for the year in 10 monthly installments – September to June. Because our monthly expenses remain the same, we cannot not prorate for missed classes due to vacation or illness. Monthly tuition is the same regardless of how many classes are held in the month (most months have 4 classes, occasionally we have 3 or 5.) In the very rare circumstance when ADC must cancel a scheduled class, a make-up will be offered.
Private lessons are also available for $15 per half hour.
Tuition is due at a dancer’s first class of the month or by the 10th. Electronic payment via Venmo is appreciated and preferred (@adcirishdancers), however check or cash are also accepted. Because our teachers and landlord appreciate us paying them on time, your timely payments are appreciated, too. Accounts that are past due are subject to a $10.00 per month late fee. 2020-2021 Performance Fees

The annual performance fee covers costs associated with the entry fees for the St. Patrick’s Day parade, venue rental for our summer show, Celtic Celebration and teacher salaries for additional performance opportunities. This once a year fee is due with October tuition. Fees are set based on entry fees and venue rental costs. We offer an optional fundraising opportunity to offset the cost of fees.

Costume prices vary by class/level. We do our best to keep them reasonable. Irish costumes are not available off-the-rack so much time is involved in designing, custom sewing and embroidery. Beginner dancers can expect to pay $50-100 for an entire costume (not including shoes) that is used at all performances during the year. Intermediate costumes are $100-200 and our most advanced dancers will have a up to a $300 investment. When feasible we reuse costumes the next year and/or give dancers the opportunity to purchase/sell used costumes to help defray costs. At our annual Celtic Celebration, classes will perform a themed dance for which a separate costume is purchased. This cost is usually no more than $25. Deposits for traditional costumes are due in November, balance billed in January and Celtic Celebration costumes are billed in April or May. We offer an optional fundraising opportunity to offset the cost of fees.
New Dancer Registration
Registration for new dancers is $15. This holds your spot in the class and communicates your commitment. Continuing dancers are not charged registration fees annually, but will be asked for their intent to return in the Spring to help us with our Fall class schedule planning.
10% immediate household
The second dancer enrolled from the same immediate family or household will receive a 10% discount. Our studio grows mainly by word-of-mouth. Your referrals are appreciated. Referral discounts are available for dancers who bring new students to us. Please contact us for information.
